Engine vibrations after timing belt change
Hi,
I recently did a timing belt change (water pump, seals, etc) on my 94 Honda Accord. After this it feels like the engine (and the car) is vibrating at certain RPMs, which wasn't happening before. Any ideas what might be causing this?? TIA michael |
Re: Engine vibrations after timing belt change
to remove the t-belt, the upper motor mount has to be removed on that side of
the engine. Perhaps it was not torqued properly? Also, that model has a balancer shaft belt, perhaps it was installed incorrectly. Or maybe the timing is out by a tooth, causing vibration at certain speeds. t michalis0@gmail.com wrote: >Hi, > >I recently did a timing belt change (water pump, seals, etc) >on my 94 Honda Accord. > >After this it feels like the engine (and the car) is vibrating >at certain RPMs, which wasn't happening before. > >Any ideas what might be causing this?? > >TIA >michael -- Message posted via CarKB.com http://www.carkb.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx...-cars/200701/1 |
