Gasket Sealant
I put on a new valve cover gasket and spark plug tub o-rings. I used
permatex, high temp rtv silicone gasket maker. All it says on the tube is that it is completely cured in 24 hours. Does that mean it shouldn't be ran in 24 hours or will it be ok to run it? |

It will be soft and goopy if disassembled before the stuff is fully cured, but you are just using it to ensure the gaskets won't leak at all. Mike |
