second step 47 ft/lbs must use proper order -- Charles Tague 93 Honda Civic DX HB 1.6L SOHC VTEC 14.85 @ 89 mph,1.98 60 ft. It's also a good idea to chase the threads in the block with a tap (being extremely careful of course to use the correct size tap). For someone that does not do this type of thing on a regular basis, it tends to make your heart race when you feel it happening. -Cj- |

Best to use anti-sieze compound (e.g. Permatex) on threads and washers.
