HELP ......'97 civic dx won't start
I went out to start my usually dependable '97 Civic this morning and
as it was about to start it died and now it just cranks. I checked and the timing belt is still on and looks good (not sure how a bad one would look). The car has only 45K miles. A friend suggested checking for spark. I'm going to do that...but am worried that maybe the timing belt jumped a tooth or something? But it would still run, yes? or no? Thanks for any suggestions! mf |

You may have a bad main relay.Gotta have fuel along with the spark. Timing belts should be changed at around 60K miles.
