Help: Battery light flickering

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them or if they know why it
might be happening.

Car is a 1994 Honda Civic SI and the battery light will flicker on (but
never actually stay on).
I've noticed that it usually happens when I'm on the highway and traveling
at a speed >125km/hr. RPMs are at around 3300.

Anyone else ever hear of this?

Thanks.

M

Thanks Tony,

I will do that. The battery is fairly new ( 1 yr old ) so I didn't think it
would be that. I assumed a loose connection or something like that but I
just found it odd that it happens whenever I'm RPMing at >3300 or traveling
>120km/hr.

BTW, are you speaking from experience?

(Final Analysis) Re: Help: Battery light flickering

Just thought I'd post and let you all know that my flickering light was due
to my alternator starting to fail because of worn brushes.
Hope this helps someone out in the future.
Thanks to all who responded.
