Honda Accord EX 1993 Cold Start Valve

Hello,
I really would like to know where I can get information
on the innards of a Honda Accord EX 19934 Cold Start Value.
Chilton's manual doesn't appear to have anything useful on
the subject.
The reason I ask is I just replaced the starter motor on
my car though now the engine doesn't always start, there is
a slow grinding action or it will just keep turning without a
start. Humidity always plays a part, if it's more humid it tends
to start less. And it doesn't appear very consistant either.
Although on cold days after using it more then twice it'll usually
start for the remander of that day alone.
So again any and all information of the above and the means
to an end would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
John

That's a 1993 Honda Accord btw. Unless we are overrun in the
year 19934 by damned dirty apes!

<signal rings>
<waah ah waah aaah>

PS. The fuel pump was also replaced erroneously as the
same symtoms remained.

j,
Read this web page carefully, I think you'll find your answer. You can
tell by listening for the fuel pump to run (not run)while you watch your
dash lamps doing the 'lamp test'.

There are several other pages that explain it too.
