I have owned cars made by various companies and have had problems with
lots of chips--usually as a result of gravels hitting the windshield. I
try to avoid driving behind dump trucks but it's not always possible. I
suggest that you call or visit several shops listed in the yellow pages
and ask them if they can repair the chips. This will prevent your
windshield from developing a crack.
