Honda Civic Ignition Timing Help

Can anyone tell me where is the connection wire need to jump when adjusting
the ignition timing of 97 Honda Civic HX. Chilton's book indicate "locate
the blue wire ... and tap the connection.... paper click can be use". Any
help is appreciated.

Re: Honda Civic Ignition Timing Help

Drawings of the 95-97 Civic's service check connector (to be jumped when
adjusting the ignition timing, as you say below) appear at:

http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/CivicManual/pdf/23-a85.pdf

Instructions for checking the timing also appear here. I'd at least skim all 11
pages before beginning, then print out the pages that look particularly helpful.

I also found the photographs and text at
http://www.norcalcrx.org/ht.html#ignition very helpful when I checked my 91
Civic's timing.
