Re: THE Honda Commenerical
I read in an article that this film was really made in one sequence, no
special effects, no tricks. It took the crew however sixhundred and thirty-something takes to get it right from beginning to end. Every time they had to rearrange the whole set of parts and do the thing all over again. Especially the part where the rain sensor makes the wipers start to walk was a tricky one. The wipers never walked the same way twice. The japanese honda-people were very surprised when they saw the result, saying that "it's amazing what you can do with computer-technology these days". You can imagine their reaction when they heard that it was all for real. Undoubtedly one of the best commercials I've ever seen, but maybe I'm just a bit prejudiced being a honda-fan... K.
