Curly,

Thanks for the correction. I was getting the two mixed up since I also have a
'98 CRV.

Like I said, the Honda Factory Service manual recommended Dexron at the time
without any mention of a Honda fluid. I'm looking at it right now in my '88
Accord Service manual. It's right there in the maintenance section on page 4-
4 and also on page 15-16 in the Auto Trans section.

I plan to drain the fluid twice(in a week span) to get as much Honda ATF in
there as possible.

My 15 tear old manual says Dextron ll for my 90 Accord but the mech
said not any more and to use the Honda stuff.
