How can I modify 2004 pilot rear 12v outlet to unswitched

Hi all,

I have an '04 pilot, and would love to be able to use the rear 12v power
outlet without having the ignition switched on. Is there a computer
setting or fuse I can remove to accomplish this?

When I'm camping, it is sometimes a pain to have to keep the car on and
I would love to be able to run my laptop while I am out there without
needing to keep the key on.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks

Craig

You might wanna ask this at www.hondapilot.org. There are some people
in there who are hardcore DIY'ers who know the Pilot's schematics
pretty good.

On my Odyssey (which has similar wiring to your Pilot), I added a $7
Radio Shack power outlet to the power seat circuit. It is always hot
and has a 20 amp fuse, so you are protected.

Bill,

Thanks, can you detail a bit more how you did this and where the power
outlet is located?

Thanks

Craig
