i am thinking of getting a honda civic. the 1.6 but not sure which is better
the ESI or the VTI i live in the uk and not sure how it differs from the
ones else where.

i would love to here of ppls oppinions and what things to look out for so i
know i am buying a decent car.

Check to see if the timing belt has been changed if it's over 90k
miles. Coupes are notorious for having wear on the outside edge of the
driver's seat. Sometimes the rubber footpad in the carpet will wear
through under the accelerator. The muffler/rust might be an issue
depending on what area of UK you are in. In East Anglia it wasn't much
of an issue, but Cornwall or Kent might have rust issues, and I think
it gets a little colder in Yorkshire, so it might rust up there too.
