Instrument Gauge swap
I recently bought a 95 Civic sedan and the speedo is in MPH and I want
to convert it to KPH. Cna anyone tell me what speedos (year) will fit my car? Will the speedo from a 1993 Honda Civic EG fit? Will I be able to hook up the tach? Thanks |
Re: Instrument Gauge swap
92-95 gauges will fit, tach works by electronics, wiring is already inplace,
so if the new gauge has them, yes, you can use them "Fergie" <ffergie.no.spam@go.com> wrote in message news:G7DBb.8670$IF6.405242@ursa-nb00s0.nbnet.nb.ca... > I recently bought a 95 Civic sedan and the speedo is in MPH and I want > to convert it to KPH. Re: Instrument Gauge swap
I don't know about car gauges, but on my old motorcycle I just had the
face plates changed. True, the odometer will still be in miles, but if you can deal with that, it would be cheaper than replacing the whole gauge.
