Just got 93 civic lx
I just got a 93 Civic LX, my father has owned a 93 Accord EX-R for the past
few years which I've previously driven. Just wondering if any of you know of good websites to find information about these cars right down to the details such as engine specs (bore and stroke, rod lengths, bearing sizes, fuel system specs) Maybe I'm being too detailed but you get the idea. Also this little car vibrates fairly noticably in all gears except 5th, the Accord of my fathers has zero vibration and twice as many kilometers. Could this be a timing issue, crank bearing/connecting rod bearings issue? Or just a side effect of a small car with crude motor mounts? -- Rocket '87 TRX250R '84 200ES Big Red |

You should take your car immediately to a dealer. They are the only ones who
are experienced enough to be able to deal with this problem. The only thing that would make me take my honda to the dealer would be if it
was under warrenty and the crank was in pieces in the oil pan. dont worry about it, thats his answer for everything, if something goes
wrong, bring it to a dealer. Have you checked the motor and transmission mounts? they could be bad, i would definately try this method over stripping the engine looking for the problem "Rocket Richarde 250R" <trx250r@nbnet.nb.ca> wrote in message news:ORoIb.22035$IF6.982022@ursa-nb00s0.nbnet.nb.ca... > The only thing that would make me take my honda to the dealer would be if it > was under warrenty and the crank was in pieces in the oil pan. My wife has been driving a 93 Civic EX for the past 5 years, and all I
can say about this car is nothing but negative comments. Underpowered, noisy, rattles, vibrating, and not exactly 30 mpg gas mileage; but that may be due to the 130K miles it has on it.
