looking for a driver side interior door handle part
Hi,
I have 1995 4-doors Honda Civic. A few weeks ago, on the interior driver side of the door, I noticed a small crack on the plastic cover which holds the interior door-handle/lock switch mechanism. Yesterday, I pulled on the interior door-handle to get out of my car, and the plastic cover splitted vertically. I could still get out of my car by carefully holding the plastic cover with my left hand and then pulling the interior door-handle with my right hand. I have searched the Internet to find this plastic cover (I don't know the name of this part). So far, I have found outside door handle cover. Does anyone know where I could get this plastic interior handle cover? Everything works well. It is that darn broken plastic whatever it is called... Thank you for your help! |

I thought about a cheaper way to fix the problem. Would applying some plastic cement fix the problem? I am thinking of using the following plastic cement to mold back the cracked pieces together: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHU34&P=7 The glue is called "Tenax-7r." It is supposed to be pretty good with plastics. I am brainstorming since I don't want to spend money unnecessarily. The glue is less than $4. Thanks! |
