Re: New Civic!

There's nothing wrong with your Civic so don't let that comment bother
you.

As for your paint job, your first stop should not be at a typical
HARDWARE store, but an AUTOMOTIVE PAINT store...they'll have what you
need -- may even rent you equipment -- tell you what the best paint
for your application is, how much to thin it out for the sprayer, and
so on...stuff you need to know to do a good-looking (vs. crappy) job.

Go there first.

The hardest part my be finding a dust/bug-free environemnt to do it
in.

Good luck,

Re: New Civic!

Thanks for the advice all! I ended up getting some decals made at a stencil
shop. I little safer :)

How ironic...my friend has a 1983 Chevy van pained up to look like the
A-teams! We wrecked it though when another friend tried to park a Suzuki
swift in the back of it while both were driving (only 10-15 Kph), kinda
like what Knight Rider did. No biggie for him though, he has the $$$ to buy
a new one.

I just added a new Apline system to my Civic, and am looking at some serious
engine mods. Now I just need to soup up my winter vehicle! (2000 MDX, shitty
brown colour).

Why would someone buy a car they don't like? If it's all they have,
then go to a dealer that has what you want. Cars aren't cheap, and
since you're paying so much, you better get EXACTLY what you want.

The only reason I can see someone buying a car in a color they don't
like is if it's the LAST one and the dealer is offering it at a super
low price, or if you're buying a used car with a super low price.
