New Spark Plugs???
How often should you change your spark plugs, I have a 2000 honda Accord.
I still have the orignal plugs in. The Honda Parts Dealer told me that you don't have to replace them till 100,000 miles. he also said that the Platinum Plugs are $17.00 each, Can anyone concur? |
Re: New Spark Plugs???
With the new plug that they put in cars today they last a long time. I
don't think 100,000 miles. $17.00 is a bit steep for any plug including Platinum. I say them selling for $5.00 around town and they are considered the best. Go to a local repair shop and have them installed when the time comes. Re: New Spark Plugs???
Because Honda was putting platinum plugs in 91-95 Legends, and they said to
replace them at 60k. The only reason they would suggest 105,00 is to keep up with the "100,000 mile tune-up" fad. Re: New Spark Plugs???
Yeah the Platinum plugs are $17 at the Honda dealer. They are $3 at Wal
Mart. The recommended change mileage is 100,000 miles.
