noisy tranny

I've got a 2001 Civic with 135k, manual transmission. Don't know if had
the MT fluid changed ever. For about 2 days started to make a grinding
noise when engine is revved up, typicaly in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks.

sounds like the front bearing on the input shaft. needs a strip-down.
you'll damage it if you keep driving like that.

Another thing to think about: When they bled your brakes, did they bleed
the clutch fluid as well, and are you having any trouble getting it into
reverse?

Re: noisy tranny

Don't know about the clutch fluid.
Actually I can never get into reverse in one move - have to try 2 or 3
times, while the tranny keeps grinding gears.
Thank you.
