Pedal extenders or adjustments on CRV?

Friend bought a new CRV, but she's short and feet hardly reach the
pedals. Anyone know of extenders that will fit the CRV, or adjustments
that can be made to the gas and brake"

Thanks

Re: Pedal extenders or adjustments on CRV?

The solution is to do a test drive before you buy. Too late now.

Re: Pedal extenders or adjustments on CRV?

I had this problem with a 2001 Tahoe. The gas pedal was too far down and the
brake pedal too high so I took a piece of 1 1/4 inch (5 quarter as it's
called in the trade) and cut it to the size of the gas pedal. I then used
strap ties (used for strapping cables together - available at Home Depot or
Sears etc) to hold it to the pedal securely and then used black duct tape
( ahhh duct tape!) to cover the whole thing. I've driven it for two years
and 41K miles and it works perfectly with muddy, snowy rainy boots and
shoes. Any decent handyman can make something similiar for your friend.

Send me the measurements. I'll cut you a piece of five quarter cherry.
