Hey i was wondering what could cause a clutch pedal to squeek sometimes,its
not the clutch squeeking its the pedal. i know brake pedals do it to
sometimes

Usually it is the pivot bushing at the top of the pedal, but it can be the
pushrod connection point if it's a hydraulic clutch. The usual fix is about
the same either way - a shot of silicone spray on the pivot bushing and the
pushrod or cable attachment point. Purists will want to disassemble the
thing and put heavier grease in it, but that's a lot of work as opposed to
squirting it when it starts squeaking. Cable ends usually don't squeak, but
if they start binding the cable will flex until it breaks. Better to squirt
it while in there. It's a simple (even if not very comfortable) DIY job.
Like other squeaks where there should be quiet movement, it's best not to
put it off forever to prevent unnecessary wear which can make it harder to
quiet down.

so its really not serious. how do you do this can i do it myself.

yes, you can easily do it if you can handle sitting on the ground and
contort yourself to see up under the dash. Place a towel on the carpet
under the pedal. Use "WD-40" or similar and spray the pivot where the
clutch pedal connects to the arm bar. Also engage the clutch and spray the
pivot point. Then press the clutch a few more times to really work in the
spray.

Heck, while down there, may as well get the other two pedals.

If you have some light oil, put some on the pivot points of your doors. Be
careful, the doors will be "free swingers" for a long time afterwards.

thanks. the only thing i am worried about is i can hear it outside of the
car, is that still normal.

oh, that is a bit different. Not being able to hear it, it will be tough to
tell if it is serious or not. Some possible related clutch noises heard
from the outside.
- synchros in the transmission are adjusting
- exhaust flange has torque to it and causes rubbing when gears engage.

does the noise only happen when the gear is engaging or even when idle? or
when the vehicle is turned off?

I am far from an expert, but have experienced these in my life.
