Question for Pilot owners

Assuming anyone else out there actually HAS one of these buggers, what
king of mileage are you getting? And in what kind of driving? We
haven't kept detailed records, but our 2004 appears to be getting about
16 MPG, doing about 75% highway driving.

Thanks!

works ? ? :-)

My 2003 was getting about 20 on the highway a while ago. Haven't checked
lately. I did hear that the milage will improve as the car breaks in, but I
don't know for sure. Mine is just over 10,000 now.

That was with 87 octane. You can use any octane, and the engine will
adjust. I suspect it will give better milage with higher octane. So really
the question is how many miles per dollar. Like to see how people do on
that.

15-17mpg in the city, depending on how hard I drive it.

18-20mpg on the road, but I don't do that very often.

Re: Question for Pilot owners

With less than 1000 miles on 2003 Pilot when new, achieved 22 mpg on
trip to UT, loitering there for a while, then back to FL. With almost
10,000 miles presently, I expect even better figures. Pilot seems much more
agile and responsive per substantial break-in, expecting better figures next
trip out, Highway driving limited to speed limits plus occasional
five/seven miles over.
