radio codes needed

Ok heres the thing,,,,my 2001 accord has not been seen at the original
dealer , so when i disconected by battery for cleaning , the radio of course
went dead, i dont have the original card with the codes and the dealer has
no record anymore as ive not brought it back to them in 2 years. anyone
have the codes i can try on my car?

greatly appreciated, the alternative is to remove the stereo and have it
sent to honda canada - so im told.

Michael.

There's only one code, and that's the one that's tied to the serial
number of your radio.

Your radio is extremely easy to remove. You can do it yourself. Then
you get the serial number off the radio, and go back to your dealer, and
have them look it up.

I have an 2001 Civic, it won't be in any of those places. When the ca
was first purchased, there was a card that has 5 digits on it. I hav
had my factory unit replaced several times and each one has a ne
security code. You can get the information by contacting Honda, ge
the 800 number from the dealership, all you have to do is prov
ownership. Its easy!

Or you could just buy an aftermarket factory unit. (I have an Alpin
for sale
