A friend of mine got the 2004 accord. Same thing - poor shifting, got
it fixed at 16000km, then it started leaking trannie fluid. Brought it
in again for a tran overhaul. He was not happy and is buying domestic
next time!

I've seen a few posts about poor shifting on the V6 Accords and was
wondering if it was related to this:

"One difference from the TL transmission is the addition of the Electronic
Throttle Control (ETC) system to further enhance shift smoothness by
momentarily closing the throttle (reducing torque) at shift points."
