Re: Any bra users out there?

They certainly do keep the paint from chipping but they also can cause paint
fading and tint changing. I have 2 Del Sol's, a red one and a green one
and both have paint deterioration under the bra. I bought the cars used and
they were like that when I got them. I have no idea how long the bras were
on there, posibly 3-4 years. I live in southern Indiana and commute to
Northern Illinois for work so I drive through the same conditons as you do
with rain, sleet, snow, salted/sanded roads and extreme heat. I take the
bras off once a year to clean all the gunk from under them and clean the
bras themselves.

have you thought about a magnetic bra? supposed to stop all of the problems
of dirt getting under it as its a magnet, no room for anything to move under
it, also molds to the hoods lines better, here is a pic of my friends p5
with one

Yep, never saw much point to a little strip of protection on the front of
the hood.

Kevin,
Thanks for your reply. This confirms the general impression that I got
from the previous replies. Yours is especially helpful because you are
also from Toronto. I agree that the integra looks great in a bra - nice
car ;)
