Admittedly, the initial build quality and downstream reliability of Honda,
Nissan and Toyota products have all declined to some degree in recents years
when compared to the glory days of these three companies. I am referring to
the years in which they built their stellar reputations on superb initial
build quality and impeccable downstream reliability. But these three
companies STILL make real good cars compared to many other automobile
manufacturers. Especially when speaking in terms of their luxury lines;
Acura, Infiniti and Lexus respectively.

Personally, I would prefer to take my chances with a Honda/Acura,
Nissan/Infiniti or Toyota/Lexus product as opposed to a GM, Ford or
Daimler-Chrysler product. Not necessarily in the order in which I have
listed them above. I'd better not get started on my opinions of GM and Ford
products. There's simply not enough bandwidth to accomodate such a turgid,
voluminous diatribe! ;-)
