Re: rear view mirror removal

Several of the online Honda parts retailers have instructions that you
can look at online before purchasing. I reviewed the instructions for
installing the autodimming mirror, and decided I had better things to
do with my life! The mirror part is easy. Routing the new wiring
harness through the headliner and down the front window post sounded
like a pain in the a. I envisioned a headliner that never quite fit
right again or squeaked or whatever. I decided the mirror wasn't that
important to me after all. : - )

Really? The instructions made it look pretty extensive. You have to
remove the visors, and get under the headliner and down the window
post. That alone seems like it would take a lot longer than 15
minutes. The work at the mirror location itself doesn't seem too bad;
running the wires is what gave me pause. So what am I missing?
