i have removed the axels but i still have trouble with clearence because i cant get the block past the transmission becauseof the flyweel and pressure plate ect. and i cant remove the pullies because i cant get them of i even tried to remove it stright throw the bottom but i cant go any further down because of the engine mount and i cant take it of with out removing the pully because it is behind that stupid cover do you have any other suggestions that i might be able to try

Normally engines and transmissions are removed as an assembly. It sounds
like the bell housing is preventing you from moving the engine to where it
will come out. With the two connected, the tilt bar Eric refers to should
allow the engine to come out with the tranny tilted down.
