Re: Starting problem (DON'T say relay)

You need to find out what you are "losing" when the cars will not start.
It's possible that one car has a defective new main relay, and that the
other car has a bad coil. Or whatever. When they don't start, check for
spark and fuel... that will start narrowing it down as to where you should
look for the problem.

You aren't reading. Try it some time. A NEW relay can be defective... any
NEW part can be. You still need to find out what you don't have when your
car will not start. Throwing parts at it is not a good plan for
troubleshooting.

Yes,there can be bad batches of parts.Soldering the original main relay
eliminates it as a problem, and saves you $50.

There's also 'igniter' info.

Yes I am They are TWO new relays bought at TWO different stores and
they are TWO different brands. I calculated the possibility of them
both being defective and came up with the conclusion that I was not
that lucky for it to happen to me that both would be defective but I
hear you.

let's assume the relays are good - can you hear the relay
working? Actually pressursizing the fuel system? The sound
is very faint, a soft zzzzzzzzzz-click.

And have you checked for spark during cranking?
