Re: Where is the OIL filter in the 05 Accord I4?

I like to call the punks Ricky Racers....a term most often used to refer to
the purchasers of bolt on items for their car and usually clueless as to how
the products work. ie, the dork that thinks because he buys a 100,000
volt ignition coil and "special" 8 mm colored silicone ignition wires he now
has a race car. Or the Ricky Racer that thinks because he put a loud
muffler on his car that he now has a race car. Or the idiot that believes
because the air filter he has has 50% more airflow than a stock filter it
must equate to 50% more horsepower. Absolutely pathetic.

After going to school for 2 years at UTI for automotive/diesel technology
and receiving my ASE Certfied Master Automobile Technician/ASE Certified
Heavy Truck certifications I have no tolerance for Ricky-Racer, Rice boy,
bolt-on, butt buddies.

Re: Re: Where is the OIL filter in the 05 Accord I4?

The oil filter is on the the backside of the engine. You have to get under
the car to see it. Dont change the oil until you have 5000 miles on it.
Honda has a special oil in the engine to ensure proper break in and a long
life for your engine. If there was any metal in there, the oil filter has
gotten it and it will stay there.
