Side lights on when braking
 

Honda Civic:

Hi. Since changing a brake light bulb (I’m pretty sure it was around
the same time) my side lights come on whenever I brake. Brake lights
also work though.
Can anyone suggest what the cause might be?

Sounds like the usual lack of earth to the two lamps meaning they end up in
series.
Probably the wrong type of bulb fitted or the right type fitted incorrectly.
