steering or suspension?
 

I have an 88 civic STD HB with 100 k miles on it.
When I break hard, I hear this very loud click sound from the front end. But
this happens only when braking real hard, like when I have had to lock the
brakes or react quickly. Absolutely never it has clicked when turning (even
when turning kinda fast). I have heard the stories about the CV joints, but
they both look really healthy. Anyway, do you think this maight be related
to the suspension or steering components mainly? Any guesstimations?
