Thumping noise 92 accord

Hey guys,

I had a problem before that there was the above mentioned noise and wheel
vibration at high speeds. As recommended by people on this newsgroup, I got
my tires balanced and aligned which got rid of the vibration. Only problem
is that the thumping noise is still there. Could it be the rotors or what?

Thanks for any advice,

Dave

Willing to bet it is the tires. Tire noises most often show up over 45 m.p.h.
How worn out are they? bob

The front ones are pretty new. The rear ones are looking for replacement.

A mechanic or yourself should check for
Worn or damaged inboard and/or
outboard CV joints
Incorrect spring heights
Sticking inboard CV joint assembly
Out of round tires
