Towing with the Element

Has anyone done any towing with their Element? If so, what kind of
load and what hitch?

Hi,
Look at the load capacity, and towing? Maybe motor cycle
trailer?

I would not tow with an Element it has a 500 lb load limit and if you have
two passengers and some other paraphanailia on board your pretty much maxed
out.

Eh? that seems a LITTLE low. I wsa just looking up specs for the Honda
Jazz (small citycar) and THAT has a 450kg (990lb) towing limit, for
unbraked trailers, and 2200lb limit for braked trailers.

I respectfully suggest you go and recheck your figures.

Load limits also geenrally don't refer to trailers. it refers to the
amount of weight that can be on the vehicles OWN wheels, not wheels
its dragging behind.
