Urgent: Vehicle ding at the honda service, what next?

Hi,
I need just dropped my car for first oil change at the local Honda dealer
and just now they called me and say that they had a "little mishap" and my
cars bumper got "little scratched". They said they are going to repair it
etc. Is there any thing I have to worry about? They said car will be ready
tomorrow.

Thanks

Canadian Honda Accord 2003 EX

I had the same thing happen to one of my cars when it was in for service. In
my case, I had no worries (I've been dealing with this dealership since
1979), and knew that the work would not be noticeable to a trained eye. If
you're not happy with the repair, contact the GM of the Dealership. If your
concerns don't get addressed to your satisfaction, then talk to the people
in your local Honda Zone office.

Re: Urgent: Vehicle ding at the honda service, what next?

I would want to see the car prior to repair to see what they mean by
"little mishap".

At least they called and told you --lots of places would try and pawn it off
as saying that's the way it came in.

I am sure they are on the up and up but I still would like to see the so
called scratch just for my peace of mind.

But that's just me talking.

That would be interesting.

Yep. My Dodge truck had a nice sharp dent in it when I came to get it
after its visit to the dealer. They said, we don't have anything that
could mark a dent like that. I insisted that they fix it. They did.
I didn't even look at the repair, truthfully. 16 years later, I'm not sure
I can tell where it was ;-)
