Where is this cable for?

Dear honda drivers,

i own a 93 civic hb (european model), and i changed my air intake a few days
ago.

After i had removed de origanel air filter i noticed a lose plug. I known
that i needs to be lose at the moment because it as a protected cover on.

There are 5 wires on this plug. My question is does any one known where this
plug is for, because it has no marks.

Thanks in advance.

Dirk Roeven

It may be the plug for factory fog lights

Re: Where is this cable for?

The wire for the factory fog lights is by the left head light, so I
doubt that is what it is. The wiring for the factory A/C system ends up
close to the air intake, and I believe that is what the original poster
found. This connector has 8 cavities, but not all are filled. With the
A/C kit comes a wiring harness that plugs in here and is routed over to
the left side of the car where the A/C compressor etc. sits.
