Will a Honda Element carry a dirtbike?
Anybody try to fit a dirtbike in the back of a Honda Element?
I have a Yamaha TW200. It's pretty small. Thanks. George |

Pretty much any car can tow a light trailer with a dirtbike on it. Cosmin |

You should be able to figure out whether or not it will fit after measuring your bike. I agree with the other posters that told you that making use of a trailor to carry the bike is a better option. Placing a Yamaha motorcycle in the back of a Honda Element could result in some damage to the Honda Element unless great care is used. For example, the trim or carpet could be damaged by oil or scrapps (spellling??). |

Hell I remember a time when we bought pickup trucks to put stuff in the
back. If I see a guy with a pretty pickup truck pulling a trailer it cracks me up. 4 wheel drive vehicles all over the place that never leave the road - IMHO we're going nuts in this country. ;-) "Ted Jackson" <tedjackson@nospam.com> wrote in message news:tedjackson-1504041726290001@pm2-broad-172.snlo.dialup.fix.net... > In article <82ea5164.0404132224.7888c6c6@posting.google.com >, > glin69@hotmail.com (George Lincoln) wrote: > > > Anybody try to fit a dirtbike in the back of a Honda Element? > > I have a Yamaha TW200. > > It's pretty small. > > Thanks. > > George > > I advise you to take a tape measure to the local Honda dealership and > measure the storage area. Re: Will a Honda Element carry a dirtbike?
Two dirtbikes as in bicycles will fit! Almost no car can do that without
taking off the front bicycle wheel. - Steve "George Lincoln" <glin69@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:82ea5164.0404132224.7888c6c6@posting.google.c om... > Anybody try to fit a dirtbike in the back of a Honda Element? > I have a Yamaha TW200. > It's pretty small. > Thanks. > George > |

Since driving in-itself will cause you possibly serious harm when involved
in a collision or roll over. I'd WALK! and godforbid your a dirt biker, you'll have to give it up.... Let me recommend either raising fish in a tank or kite flying! BUT WATCH THOSE HIGH TENSION LINES AND FOLLOW THE MANUFACTERERS RECOMMENDATIONS. anyway you should have enough room, I'd tie-down to the seats (where they clamp) when they're pushed up. then to the 4 other tiedowns. and be aware of those afraid of life..........................
