Windshield scratches

Does anyone have any advice on how to remove scratches from a
windshield, or how much it costs to have them buffed out? My honda is
brand new and looking at those scratches is really pissing me off.

Re: Windshield scratches

My suggestion is to buy a high quality glass cleaner and try this
first. Any idea how they were caused?

Getting frost off my windshield... I had no idea that ice scrapers
could do that.

If you have leaves or other debris on the wipers there's a chance that could
cause scratches too . Glass cleaner is going to do you no good what-so-ever
.. Anytime you have scratches polished out there is some degrade in the glass
..

Re: Windshield scratches

do you use one of the full serve car washes? I used to work for a company
that sold the soap and wax to one of these places. The scratches could be
caused by a buildup of the wax on the windshield. Then when you went to
scrape it, you scraped away some of the wax causing what looks like scratches.
My bet is that they would simply buff out. Have you tried?
