Failed emissions do to high CO. Honda prelude VTEC?

Failed emissions do to high CO. Honda prelude VTEC?
Its a 95 honda prelude VTEC. Carbon monoxide was 12.50/12.00, I was very close to passing. A gas station around my area offers gas with 110 octane, think if I fill up with 110 I can pass? I'm almost positive its running rich. Thanks
