when i turn the key engine turns over but when i release thr the key engine turns off

Does the car start, or do it just turn over?































If it never starts, that could mean several things, but at least your starter motor and battery are working.































It is starts, but turns off when you release the key, then it is most likely the ignition switch. You definitely have a good battery, good ignition wires, good starter motor and good fuel system. The alternator is unknown, but the car will run without an alternator (just not for very long). So that leaves the ignition switch.
