jdm prelude transmission -> usdm motor?
hi all. got a question about mating a jdm h22 transmission to a usdm h22. the 98 prelude is a non-sh auto w/ sport shift. the transmission went south couple of weeks ago and i was lucky enough to find and bought a jdm h22 mp1a (96 prelude?) auto transmission.
the mechanic visually checked the jdm trans. and said it won't be compatible. he also mentioned something about the harness being different or what not.
so is he somewhat correct? if so, what else is needed in order to make the lude running again? thank you all in advance for your help.
