Which petrol to use in my prelude??

I have got Honda prelude 5th gen (1997). Its a 2.2 VTi model. i was wondering which petrol to use. would normal unleaded petrol be fine or do i have to use the premium unleaded? does it matter? does the premium unleaded make the performance better.?

It doesnt matter, but obviously the prenium might be better unless theyve put the same in both

normal would be fine but if your wanting to pay a little extra for quality fuel which could improve mpg (but will improve proformance) get optimax down its injectors

If the engine is bone stock,, the 87 octane is all you need,,,,Anything higher than that and it will clog your catalytic converter,,,,,, IF the engine was built then you would need a hight flow aftermarket cat,,,to run a higher octane

Straight forward unleaded. Mine worked lovely on it. Save the extra few p.

87 octane is all you need for a untuned engine, but if you have some mods done i suggest 90 or 91
