06 Sonata GLS timing tensioner serviced, now alarm doesn't arm

Had my 2006 Sonata GLS in for what I thought was lifter noise. Dealer
said it was actually timing tensioner(s) and replaced it/them. This
is supposed to be a known issue with the Lambda V6. Anyone else heard
this???

Anyway, now my alarm won't arm. No confirmation blink, no horn
beep. If I sit in the car, arm it, and open the door, there's no
alarm. Previously this did cause the alarm to trigger.

The lock and unlock functions work normally on both keyfobs. The
panic button works.

Checked the doors and trunk. They're all shut.

The underhood switch -right in the area of the timing work- appears to
be connected to the wiring harness from above. Can't see the harness
below. This is exactly where they were working on the engine so
"something unplugged" seems to be a likely suspect.

I can't get back to the dealer for probably a week. Anyone have any
ideas what might be unplugged or disabled?

Fixed it. The service department had unbolted the hood switch
bracket and moved it out of the way to get access to the coolant
reserve tank. Looks like they pulled the tank for some reason.

Anyway, they forgot to put the switch back. It was still there but no
longer touching the contact on the hood.

The bracket is now back where it is supposed to be and the alarm is
working again. Done.
