1997 Tiburon question
This morning (4am) the batter/alt. light and the brake light came on for a
few seconds. When I pulled over I turned off the car. Restarted and the light was still on but turned off when I revved the engine and brought the rpm's up. The headlights were slightly dim while the idiot lights were on, but back to normal afterwards. Does it sound like regulator going bad? Time for new alternator? Thanks |
Re: 1997 Tiburon question
The alternator grounds the lead from this lamp when the regulator senses no
output. You'll need an alternator unless the belt was slipping. |
Re: 1997 Tiburon question
Thanks, the light's coming on fairly intermittently now. I guess I'll pony
up for a new one this afternoon.
