2000 Elantra Codes
 
Im getting codes 734, 733, 722, and 717. i know 722 is the output shaft
speed sensor and 717 is the turbine shaft speed sensor. if i replace the 2
sensors does the computer have to get reprogramed or can i just replace the
2 sensors. also doesnt any1 know the part numbers for the 2 parts.

The input and output speed sensors come together. Hyundai calls them
pulse
generators. You should be able to purchase from any Hyundai dealer with
no
problem. Once you've replaced them, clear the codes by disconnecting the
battery for 30 seconds.

The input and output speed sensors come together. Hyundai calls them
pulse
generators. You should be able to purchase from any Hyundai dealer with
no
problem. Once you've replaced them, clear the codes by disconnecting the
battery for 30 seconds.
