2000 Sonata Electric Window Problem

My passenger side window has slipped about a 1/4 inch and I have no idea how
to adjust it. The window motor seems to be working fine but the window is
slightly loose.

In addition, my drivers side window closes but now makes a noise as if it
too is out of adjustment.

Is this a big job or something I can do with the right tools?

Re: 2000 Sonata Electric Window Problem

On my 98 Sonata, I had a window problem on the drivers back seat window. It
lowered, but would not raise (close). Replacement was not a major repair.
Soon after the repair I developed a power lock problem on the driver side
door. The gut feeling was the repair of the power window affected the front
seat lock. BUT I Could never prove it.

Re: 2000 Sonata Electric Window Problem

Sometimes when they have been working in there they don't put the wiring
harnesses back properly. They did that to us, and the harness ended up
underneath the window glass. When the window was opened it pulled the
wiring connectors apart. That's how they explained it to me, anyway.
