2001 Accent check engine light

I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent. The check Engine lite keeps coming on.
My service shop told me the code was P1510, Manu. controlled vehicle
speed, idle control, aux. inputs. Is this correct? They showed me the
part which is held by 2 screws & has one plug in connector. If I can
find this part at a junkyard, is there any problem with installing it
myself or are there any adjustments that will be needed?

I am not sure about what this code is about or which part they showed you to
replace, but I would go with brand new part when it comes to
sensor/switches/electronic parts.
JunkYard are good for plastic/metal/guaranteed parts, I don't think the
junkyard will guaranteed that the sensor/switches/electronic parts will 100%
solve/rectified your problem.

Re: 2001 Accent check engine light

I don't show P1510 as a valid code for the 2001 Accent. Normally, this
would indicate a problem with the idle actuator electrical circuit, but in
this case, I suspect there's a problem with the communication between the
scan tool/code reader and the vehicle.
