2002 Elantra GT recall
Do I have to wait for a letter from Hyundai notifying me of the recall (like
the faulty ignition module in my mother's 2002 Sante Fe) or can I be proactive and call the dealership to make an appointment referencing the recall number? Thanks! |

I called the dealership and answered my own question, basically you have to
want until the dealership is made aware by Hyundai (parts will be made available to the dealerships if needed) THEN Hyundai will send you a letter to have the car serviced.
