2002 Santa FE Fan Switch

Subject switch has quit working 3 times now, normally came back to life
after a day or 2, now dead. Pushing in hard on switch seemed to power it
momentarily between 3 and 4 speed, but now dead again. Is this a problem
others have encountered, if so, what was the problem/solution.

If you can (or could) correct it by monkeying with the switch, the problem
is nearly 100% to be in the switch.

Doesn't matter what I do with switch now, doesn't work. Dealer said it was
blower motor, but I would have to verify that myself, they are awful eager
to sell parts with 400% markup
Just have to put 12V across the motor terminals and see if it works

Even easier, unplug the blower motor and attach a voltmeter to the
terminals. Turn the fan on (key on, of course). If you have 12 volts,
it's the motor. If not, it's somewhere else.
