2002 Santa Fe Odometer not reading

I'm having trouble with my 2002 Santa Fe, I was in a car accident a couple
of days ago, and now the odometer and speedometer doesn't seem to work. I
called the dealer where I bought the car, but because I was in an accident
which was my fault they want to charge me to look at it. I want to try and
figure it out first. My buddies at work seem to think maybe the cable or
plugin got disconnected or was busted, does anyone know how I can re-connect
it? I looked under the hood and there are tons of connectors under there.

Thanks for any help.

Don't waste your time. If you were in an acident, the insurance should
take care of it. Even if the insurance paid for the repair already, it
is not uncommon finding little things wrong for about 30 days. Just
take it back to were it was repaired and say you just noticed this.
Have them call the adjuster and it will be tyaken car of. Make sure
and check everything, lights (inside and outside), cruise control,
check the anti lock brakes (in a safe place), etc. By the way, most
likely you had a front end damage and most likly cut a cable in the
front.
