24 mo - 30k which ?
Going for my wife's Elantra GT 24 month service ( we do LOF every 3months)
, but should we have the air filter and the coolant replaced to be in sync with the 'factory maint.' even with only 11K miles on the car ? Probably will do it anyway.........yes we have had 7 LOF's in the first 10,400 miles but we have the 'lifetime free' services as a bonus for the factory 10 year BTB warranty so why not. IOW is the mark that dictates failure to comply with factory maint. the *time or is it the *mileage , in my case the mileage will always lag FAR behind the elapsed time ? ** we _may_be in the 'Severe driving conditions' for MAYBE: **Repeated short distance driving Thoughts? -- Michael " I want to live forever, So far so good. Technically, if you grossly exceed either time or mileage, then you haven't
followed the guidelines. I personally have never understood the need to change plugs, atf, or similar items that wear with mileage based on time nor coolant based on mileage. But if I owned a new car, I'd probably do it anyway while still within the warranty period. |
